EDGAR Next: production support versus filing authority

Account coordination is not permission to submit.

Individual credentials

EDGAR Next uses individual Login.gov credentials and named roles. Shared login requests are not a shortcut for vendor onboarding.

Administrator decisions

Account administrators manage the relevant account roles and confirmation process. A reminder checklist can help, but the administrator retains the actual account action.

Separate authorization stages

Receiving approved disclosure permits only the contracted production work. Delegated access, exact-package approval and explicit LIVE instructions are separate controls.

Minimize credential exposure

Conversion-only work does not require confidential filing credentials. Keep CCC and tokens in the authorized party’s approved secret storage, not in an email quote or production issue log.

Scope and primary reference

Educational production guidance only. Client disclosure approval, legal/accounting judgement, qualified tagging review and filing authority remain separate. Confirm the appropriate qualified review and current requirements for each live assignment.

Reference: Current official SEC guidance. Verify the current requirements for the agreed job.

Google optional storage is denied by default. These controls send Google consent signals and remember your choice for up to 180 days. They do not block third-party script loading or control Jotform chat. Tags inside Tag Manager must be configured to respect consent.

Read the storage and integration inventory. Do not share confidential files or credentials in the chat.
